HE WENT FROM A KID IN FOSTER CARE | TO RESCUING PEOPLE FROM DESPAIR

Updated: Nov 17

You’d think he had a good childhood. Because of riches his parents had. But the riches didn’t matter to him, because they were hiding a lot of bad. He’d wake up in a mansion, feeling down and feeling sad. It was hard for him to smile, It was hard for him to laugh. It was a very challenging upbringing, He always felt alone. Because he was a foster kid, In a very abusive home. This daily reality, made it hard for him everyday. Because it always reminded him, that his mother gave him away. It was tough, his life was rough. But in the end, God was enough.

It all started when he discovered, that life wasn’t fair. Because he was living in a mansion, and his real parents weren’t there. His foster mom loved him. But his foster dad didn’t care. He made every effort, to bring him misery and despair. Dad threw his weight around. Dad inflicted so much hurt. Dad damaged his self esteem, he didn’t feel any self worth. He wanted him dead and he knew it. But his mom wouldn’t let him do it. Her love was therapeutic. But he had to face the music. Dad did’t care for him, he was angry. But he stayed in his lane. He bit his tongue about it. He internalized the pain. The pain grew up with him, from a small flower to a tree. When he got older, he decided, that it was time to be free.

He was fed up with the abuse, that’s all he knew, that’s all I saw. He witnessed a sibling going through, and that was the final straw, After years of silence and no violence, He decided to fight back. But he broke the law when he did it, and it threw his life off track. He relocated to start over, and he found a new beginning. A new life, with a new wife. He felt like he was winning. A new season, a new city. He had his hearts desire. But sudden change arrived, that forced him to retire. A fire broke out at his job, Everything happened so fast. Even though no one was hurt, The day it happened was his last. It motivated him to move on. It motivated him to leave. It motivated him to be an advocate, for people that were in need. He became a fighter for the voice less, hopeless, and the defenseless. An advocate for the rejected, neglected and the winless. He was a hope dealer, for victims of systematic oppression. He followed God’s direction, and it helped him become a legend.
