On this episode of clocked out, I'll take you on a trip full of lust, lies, and deceit. It all started when I accepted my last lyft ride for the night. In route to the pickup location, I found myself in route toInfidelity. The rider had plans to cheat in her relationship, and she requested for me to help her do it. This disgusting encounter started after a long day of ride sharing. Midnight was swiftly approaching as I accepted this last ride. Like every other trip, my expectations for confrontation was low. But that changed when the customer sent me this bizarre message.

Needless to say, I was shocked. So much so, I laughed uncontrollably after reading the details. It was extremely funny to say the least. I had to pull over to gather myself. But
once I processed the details of the situation, my laughter swiftly turned into anger. This woman really had cruel intentions, and she seemed completely heartless about. As a
man, I felt disrespected. Fortunately, I've never been cheated on as far as I know. But
that doesn't mean I couldn't relate. I considered how I'd feel if it was me. Secondly,
as a man of faith, I believe I should do unto others, as I'd want them to do unto me.
In addition to this concerns, the possibility of her partner lurking came to mind. But although these concerns were valid, a similar experience became the final driving point for my decision. Prior to this ride share encounter, I had a similar one in the past I heard a woman boast about cheating during a trip years ago. She was having a conversation with her friend, about a guy they both knew. He cheated then he asked her ,"What should he do". Instead of giving advice to help the situation, she blamed him for getting caught. "You don't know how to cheat" she asked him. Needless to say, I was shocked listening to this story. Then she doubled down on her comments moments later. She went on to say "I'm a woman, I know how to cheat and get away with it". Needless to say, I was shocked.
Her confidence was terrifying. After all of this was considered, I knew I had to make a decision. After briefly giving it some thought, I decided it was too risky to continue the trip. My conscience, integrity, and the possibility of danger were too much to ignore. Soon after, I pondered on my decision. The more I processed it, the more I felt terrified. But that terror only lasted for a moment. Because I decided to learn from it. Then suddenly, this became a cautionary tale to help myself and others. The biblical moral of this story is, Matthew 7:12:
"So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this is the Law and the Prophets".
